Kusal Mendis scored six runs and was caught in the cover off Afridi’s ball. Naseem Shah dismissed Angelo Mathews (9) and Karunaratne (17) in two consecutive overs. Sri Lanka had lost four wickets for 36 runs. Dhananjay D’Silva and Dinesh Chandimal tried to bring Sri Lanka back into the match by sharing an 85-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Naseem broke this partnership by dismissing former Sri Lankan captain Chandimal for 34 runs. D’Silva became the victim of Abrar after scoring 57 runs. (AP)
