New Delhi. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (INDIA), former Congress President Rahul Gandhi hit back at him. Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday that whatever the Prime Minister may say about this alliance, but we are ‘India’, which will help heal Manipur and wipe the tears of every woman and child. The Congress leader also said that this opposition alliance would rebuild the concept of India in Manipur.

In fact, Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday termed the opposition alliance ‘India’ as the country’s most ‘directionless’ alliance so far and citing names like East India Company and Indian Mujahideen, said that people cannot be misled just by using the name of the country.

PM Modi took a dig at the opposition alliance
The Prime Minister said this while addressing the meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentary party. Giving information about this meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that the Prime Minister said in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting that the behavior of the opposition has been as if it has decided to stay in the opposition for a long time.

On the other hand, BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri said that the Prime Minister said that those planning to divide the country also had names like East India Company and Indian Mujahideen, but people will not be misled by these gimmicks.

Rahul Gandhi hit back
Responding to PM Modi’s attack, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, ‘Modi ji, you can address us whatever you want. We are ‘India’. We will help Manipur heal and wipe the tears of every woman and child. We will bring back love and peace in the lives of all the people of the state. We will rebuild the concept of India in Manipur.

On the other hand, the constituents of the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) on Tuesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is upset and on the ‘backfoot’ due to the formation of this front of the opposition and is comparing ‘India’ with a terrorist organization.
