New Delhi. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge had a light-hearted conversation on the Manipur issue on Tuesday amidst uproar in Parliament. When Kharge said that he was also among those leaders who demanded a discussion on Manipur, Dhankhar replied, “As the time permits, it will be done… but you are number one in my heart.”
In response, the Congress President took a dig at the Chairman and said, ‘I know your heart is very big… but it is on the other side.’ What was it then, the members of the House resounded with laughter and applause on this political satire and Dhankhar also laughed at Kharge’s words.
