New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not forget to honor and remember the martyrs and freedom fighters whenever he gets a chance. Now when the country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the Modi government is going to start the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign in honor of the martyrs and freedom fighters. Under this programme, programs will be run across the country from villages to cities. Plaques with the names of lakhs of anonymous freedom fighters, martyrs and heroes will be installed in these programmes. His family members will be honored. Along with this, soil from all the villages of the country will be brought to Delhi and a garden will be made from it on the duty path, which will be named Amrit Vatika. This program will start from 9th August till 30th August.
There is also a program to bring soil from all gram panchayats to Delhi.
A garden will be prepared from this soil on the duty path and it will be named Amrit Vatika. In rural areas, this program will be run from August 9 to August 15. In which freedom fighters will be honored who are not alive, their family members will be honored. Apart from this, there is a program to honor people associated with the army and para military. Along with this, their names will be written on a plaque and installed on the banks of Amrit Sarovar in the village or in the Gram Panchayat building and school.

Program to plant 75 trees in each village
Programs will be run in urban areas from August 16 to August 25. In these, volunteers will go to the block level and collect soil from villages. Which will be collected at a certain place by 25th August. Then by August 27, this soil will be taken to the duty path in the capital Delhi. Along with this, a program to plant 75 trees in each village will also be run.
On August 30, a grand closing ceremony will be organized on the duty path. In which a garden will be made on the duty path with the soil brought from the village, which will be named Amrit Vatika. Many VIP people including the Prime Minister can be present in this program.
