Rajasthan: Constable shot himself in the police station, died on the spot, there was a stir in the police department

Chittorgarh. Today, in a sensational incident, a soldier committed suicide by shooting himself in Chittorgarh district of Udaipur division of Rajasthan. This incident of suicide happened in Bhainsrodgarh police station of Chittorgarh district. There was a stir in the police department on the information about the suicide of the constable of the police station. In a hurry, the Superintendent of Police and other top officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police is engaged in the investigation of the whole matter.

According to the police, the name of the constable who shot himself is Chetram. He was posted at Bhainsrodgarh police station for the last eight months. Chetram was a constable of the police constable batch 2015. Chetram was a resident of Sriganganagar. He was posted on duty at the police station on Monday night. He shot himself with his service rifle in the early hours of Tuesday. There was a stir in the police station after hearing the sound of the bullet. Other policemen went to the spot and saw Chetram lying in a pool of blood.

Police officers took stock of the situation
Chetram died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. Later, the police station staff informed the top officials about the incident. After that, Superintendent of Police Rajan Dushyant and other officers reached Bhainsrodgarh police station and took stock of the whole situation. The reasons why Chetram committed suicide have not been revealed at the moment. The police have taken the dead body from there and kept it in the mortuary of the local hospital.

FSL and MOB team reached
After that FSL and MOB team were called from Chittorgarh district headquarters. Both the teams have collected evidence from there. The police is engaged in the investigation of the whole matter. After the information of the incident, there was chaos in Chetram’s family. The police say that they are investigating the matter from every angle. This is not the first case of suicide in the police station in Rajasthan. Even before this, such incidents have been coming to the fore.
