In fact, when train number 02563 Vaishali Clone Superfast Express going from Barauni to New Delhi started from Muzaffarpur, it was supposed to go on Motihari route, but due to track man and wrong signal, the train went on Hajipur route track.

It is being told that as soon as the loco pilot realized, the train reached the bottom of the Madipur bridge, about 200 meters away from the station. The loco pilot immediately informed the control room and the station master about this. After which the train was brought back to the junction. At the same time, the mistake of the signal personnel came to light in the case, after which Railway Division’s DRM Vivek Bhushan Sood immediately suspended panel operator Ajit Kumar and panel in-charge Suresh Prasad Singh.

After the incident, many officers and supervisors including traffic inspector and station superintendent reached the platform and started investigating the matter.
