New Delhi. Sacked minister from the Congress government in Rajasthan, Rajendra Singh Gudha has alleged that he was ‘punched and dragged’ from the Rajasthan Assembly on Monday when he was trying to present a ‘red diary’, which he claimed contained information on illegal financial transactions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The way Gudha confronted CM Gehlot today, he also pushed MLA Ved Prakash Solanki behind. Solanki is a vocal leader of the Sachin Pilot camp. Gudha is now a staunch supporter of the pilot. Thus he has the support of scheduled castes and Gujjars.

Gudha has won from Udaipurwati constituency of Jhunjhunu on Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket twice (including 2018 assembly elections). Although Gudha and CM Gehlot have not always been enemies, in 2018-19, when CM Ashok Gehlot had included six BSP MLAs in his side and at that time his most important person was Gudha. Then it was said that only Gudha will decide that his other 5 colleagues will always be with the Gehlot government. In return, they will provide facilities and benefits to their colleagues.

Gudha became the Minister of State, but his problems increased
Rajendra Singh Gudha was made the Minister of State for Sainik Welfare and Panchayati Raj in the government. His senior minister, Ramesh Meena, did not give him much work. Government files rarely came to him. This made Gudha upset. He got a big blow when CM Gehlot got his BSP MLAs on his side and broke Gudha’s hold. BSP MLAs also preferred to take the side of CM Ashok Gehlot. Rajendra Singh was upset since then and he had realized ‘now enough’.

Rajendra Singh Gudha targeted only CM Gehlot
In the ongoing Rajasthan Assembly session, Rajendra Singh Gudha targeted CM Gehlot over the Manipur issue and said that instead of talking about crimes against women in the state, the government should introspect. This is an embarrassing time for the leadership. That’s why he was sacked on Friday. Now Gudha has claimed that he was “punched and dragged” out of the assembly on Monday when he was trying to present the “Lal Diary”. Speaker CP Joshi adjourned the proceedings after seeing the uproar in the House. Gudha said on Monday, ‘After CM Gehlot asked me, I got a red diary from a site where ED and Income Tax (officers) were conducting raids.’ Gudha can contest the upcoming elections either as an independent or from AIMIM.
