Raigarh. The period of heavy rains is still going on in many states of the country. Heavy rains were witnessed in some parts of Maharashtra on Monday. Sensing the weather trend, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ regarding the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Kolhapur and Satara districts till July 27. Heavy rains are being seen in many parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
IMD scientist RK Jenamani has spoken of relief regarding the rains in Delhi. He said that there is no forecast of rain in Delhi. A rise in temperature can be seen here. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is expected which may start from the night of 25 July. Even before this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rains. In this, along with Maharashtra, a warning of heavy rain was issued in some districts of Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and UP.
