‘Government ready to discuss Manipur’s situation’: Amit Shah said in Lok Sabha, expressed surprise at opposition’s attitude

New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said he was keen to discuss the situation in Manipur in the Lok Sabha and wondered why the opposition was not ready for it. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he requested the opposition leaders to allow debate and said that it is necessary to bring the truth before the country on the Manipur issue.

The Union Minister said, ‘I am ready for discussion on this in the House. I request the opposition to allow a discussion on this issue. It is important that the country knows the truth on this sensitive matter.
