But we suddenly came to know that the singer of the second day would not be able to make it to the programme. After that we got very scared. We decided to stop by Mohammed Rafi and after a long drive we reached the airport. Mohammad Rafi’s flight was about to take off and he himself reached his seat. We requested the airport staff with folded hands to please let us talk to Mohammed Rafi once. The airport staff also agreed. We told the whole story to Mohammed Rafi and he left the flight without any question and did another program with us for the next day. Rafi sahib was a gentleman. However, I apologized with folded hands for getting his flight released.
