But keeping his father’s words in full respect, the actor worked in State Bank of India and at the same time continued doing theatre. He never let his dream die. His decision to leave the government job and enter the acting world did not prove wrong, he got a lot of work in the industry and he ruled the hearts of the audience with his characters.

Bollywood actor Ashok Saraf has shown his acting talent in more than 50 Hindi films like Marathi ‘Singham’, ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Gupt’, ‘Kya Dil Ne Kaha’, ‘Jodi Number One’, ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ and TV serials ‘Naina O Naina’, ‘Hum Paanch’, ‘Yeh Choti Badi Baatein’. Nivedita was married to Josh in the year 1990. There is a difference of 18 years in the age of both of them. He was also in the news for marrying a girl younger than himself. His work was well received both in films and on TV. Even today he is winning the hearts of the audience with his comic style.
Worked in more than 300 films
Ashok Saraf started his acting career from the year 1969. He started his career with Marathi films. In Marathi industry, he is also called as Ashok Samrat. He has also worked as a lead in Marathi films. But he never got a chance to play lead role in Hindi films. So far in his career, he has done 250 Marathi films, out of which 100 were commercial hits. Apart from this, he has also appeared in many Hindi films. He knows very well how to win the hearts of the fans with his comedy.
